Toronto Nuke User Group

So after quite a few start and stops, the Toronto Nuke User Group will be on December 16th at Arc Productions, starting at 7pm. The presenters will be:

Deke Kinkaid, Senior Creative Specialist from The Foundry. If you’ve been to previous meetings you’ll know that Deke always puts together a great presentation. He will be showing off the latest updates to Nuke 9 and showing what Nuke Studio can do.

With two large stereo conversion houses setting up shop in Toronto I thought that it would be helpful to have one of them talk a bit about what they do. Graham Clark is the head of Stereography at Stereo D and will be talking about stereo concepts and how they use Nuke in their studio.

Pixomondo Toronto has recently wrapped up working on some high profile projects. We’re lucky to have compositors John Dinh and Eric Covello present some of their latest work on Game of Thrones and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1.

Space is limited (Arc’s lounge can only hold so many people) so you’re encouraged to register early to reserve your seat. CineSys-Oceana is helping with organizing the event and they’ve set up a registration page here. Arc Productions is located at 230 Richmond Street East.

Please share this information with your friends, I'm really hoping to pack the place.
