Lytro VR Camera Announced

Lytro, makers of the first consumer light field camera, announced yesterday that they're making a light field VR system (from the camera all the way through post-production).   This is notable because light field technology allows for more freedom of movement, rather than just rotation.  FX Guide has the definitive article explaining the difference and why this could be important.  I can't imagine how much data storage this thing will need.  If you thought comping in stereo was a pain...
