Google Cloud Rendering

Yesterday I linked to a CG Garage podcast with one of the founders of Atomic Fiction, Kevin Baillie.  Atomic Fiction has been at the forefront of rendering in the cloud.  It's worth listening to, especially when he breaks down some of the figures and stats regarding rendering and how much potential waste (and potential savings) there can be.

What's more interesting is that Google purchased ZYNC, a cloud rendering service, a few months (years?) ago.  It looks like ZYNC is now fully integrated into the Google ecosystem with it's new website and an offer of a $300 free rendering credit.  That's 140 hours of V-Ray or 120 hours of Arnold rendering for free.  And if you sign up and give them more information, you can get another $500 credit.
